Narayan Menon

An Alumnus of IIT Mumbai with extensive experience of over 28 yrs in the automobile industry spanning the areas of design, product development, process and training. He has done a lot of work in the area of competency and competency based development .His focus has been customer care and service. He has used his comprehensive knowledge and experience in automobile industry by up skilling customer care manpower in Diagnostic competency, Process Adherence & Soft Skills to provide a unique service experience to the customer. As General Manager - Competency Development & Technical training at Mahindra Navistar Automotives, he established the Competency Development Dept in Customer Care and evolved new Programs; E-learning modules; online evaluation portal and LMS. This included setting up Regional Training Centers and training for Soft Skills and Business Orientation. As General Manager VAP (Value added Products) at Mahindra, he was a Product Manager, Aggregate Design Head and Head Supplier Development creating a portfolio of applications on M&M Commercial segment. He has also worked with the Eicher group conceptualizing and designing various commercial and utility vehicles.
